Nikah Again ("we", "us", "our") operates the matrimonial service at nikahagain.com (the "Service"), helping mature adults seeking marriage to connect respectfully. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Service or submitting your details through any of our forms or advertisements, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- From Facebook and other lead advertisements. When you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the information you entered with us — typically your name, email address and phone number.
- When you register or complete your profile. Your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, gender, age and the profile details you choose to provide (such as marital status, location, background and preferences).
- Photographs. Profile photos and any private photos you upload.
- Verification data. To keep the community safe we verify members. This may include comparing a photo you submit against your profile photo, and confirming your WhatsApp number by one-time passcode.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Technical data. Basic information such as your IP address, browser type and usage activity, collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and profile.
- To provide matchmaking features and let members express and respond to interest.
- To verify identity and reduce fraud, fake profiles and abuse.
- To contact you about your account, matches, and the Service — including a welcome message and sign-in link after you submit a lead form.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To improve, secure and support the Service, and to meet legal obligations.
3. How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:
- Other members. Information you place on your profile is visible to other members according to your settings. Private contact details (such as WhatsApp and social handles) are hidden until you and another member have mutually agreed to share them.
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties strictly to deliver the Service: image hosting and processing, identity verification, messaging/OTP delivery, payment processing, and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our members and the Service.
4. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal information, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, accounting or security obligations.
5. Your rights and choices
- You may access, correct or update your profile information at any time from your account.
- You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us (see below).
- You may withdraw consent for marketing communications.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
If you submitted your details through a Facebook lead form and wish to have them removed, contact us using the details below and we will delete them.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is intended only for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our service providers. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
